Recipe
CHEF DAN'S SEARED SESAME TUNA:INGREDIENTS:
Sauce:
2 tablespoons ginger
6 cloves garlic
1 cup brewed or low sodium soy sauce
1/8 cup sesame oil
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons honey
hot pepper sauce to taste
1/4 cup sweet pepper chili sauce
1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
OTHER INGREDIENTS:
sushi grade ahi or yellowfin tuna steaks
tube of wasabi paste
white and black sesame seeds
peanut oil for searing
DIRECTIONS:
1. Spread wasabi paste over tuna.
2. Coat in sesame seeds.
3. Sear in hot pan with peanut oil until sesame seeds are toasted but tuna is still rare.
4. Drizzle sauce over tuna.
5. Serve with seaweed salad.

Fun and Elegant Party!
Hi John and Dan - Thank you so much for the wonderful party. We weren't sure how the small plates and tapas would work as opposed to the sit down dinner, but there was more food than we could imagine and every plate was too beautiful to eat! We especially loved the deconstructed mini beef wellingtons, the incredible raw bar, lobster raviolis, and OMG the short ribs were incredible! The edible spoons with the crab cocktail were amazing (I need the recipe)....I could go on and on. Thank you again for such a great evening and we hope to work with you guys again very soon.
