Every chef needs essential cooking and kitchen tools. In order to become an excellent home chef, all you need is a good recipe, your essential tools, and patience. With a well-stocked kitchen, you will be able to take on any recipe. Over the years, we have owned many kitchen tools and would like to share our favorites with you. We are going to ignore the pots and pans category for now and will concentrate on other essential tools and equipment.

There are certain tools which are a “must have” for home chefs. This list is great to have if you are just starting out in a place of your own – whether you are just out of college or newly married. Then, there are are some items that we categorize as “nice-to-have” and some that are “splurges” . Both are great to add to your wedding register or to give as Christmas gifts.
